SONCCA (Seymour-Oxford Nursery & Child Care Association, Inc.) was organized in 1985 to provide affordable before- and after-school programs for children of school age living in Seymour and Oxford while their parent(s) are working or participating in an established training program.
SONCCA is a non-profit 501(c) organization with five licensed centers that are located in five schools: Bungay School, Chatfield-LoPresti School, Seymour Middle School and Quaker Farms School in Oxford. Committed to quality care, our trained professional staff provides daily activities including arts and crafts, community service learning activities, seasonal projects, story time, homework time, guest speakers, quiet recreational activities and both indoor and outdoor free play.
Care 4 Kids
Care 4 Kids helps low to moderate income families in Connecticut pay for childcare costs. This program is sponsored by the Connecticut Office of Early Childhood. Please follow the link below for more information.
Enrollment is open to any child age 5 and up who is enrolled in school grades K through 5 if the program is able to meet the needs of the child and the child can interact appropriately in a group setting.
